Two fail-open reads on the closing paths: lane-end's narrowed cell scan can miss an open LANDING, and lane-start stamps a uuid the session cell refused (#82 round 4, suppressed) #90

Lane: filed by openRepoTools-3 while building Amendment 19 (#42)

Two findings from the suppressed comments of Copilot's last review on #82 (on 76acf51, 2026-09-15T17:09Z), which that PR's writer was cut off before reading. Both are fail-OPEN reads on a closing path, in files Amendment 19 touches but in paths it does not.

1. lane-end:995 — a malformed cell can hide an open LANDING from the fallback refusal.
The copied phrase detector narrows the state-cell scan to the phrase's third part after checking only the STATE word and the timestamp SHAPE; it does not apply the rest of ratified decision O1's grammar (the 240-character cap, no |, no CR/LF). A malformed three-part cell therefore has its prose stripped out of haystack, and in the no-object-log fallback — the one path that still decides a merge hold from prose — an open LANDING living in that prose is never seen, so lane-end closes a lane that is still holding other lanes' merges under Rule 6. Reuse a full phrase validator, or leave a malformed cell on the legacy whole-cell scan.

2. lane-start:2697 — the state is stamped with a uuid the session cell never took.
When the preceding append-session-id is REFUSED (for example because this checkout's row is stale), the code prints a recovery hint and carries on to stamp LIVE · STARTED/RESUMED by <the new uuid> anyway. The row then names one transcript in its STATE and another at the end of its SESSION cell — and the session cell is what last-session resolves a resume from (Amendment 6(b): the last id in the cell). The next launch resumes a different conversation from the one the state names. Track the append's result and neither stamp nor launch with the new id until the cell has actually taken it.

Closing on Brett Heap's ruling of 2026-10-21: "yes to all six rulings as recommended" (lane 4's R1).

    Nothing is left open here.
