docs/README-lanes.md: the TAKEOVER grammar table near line 620 documents only the stale-claim-URL form, never lane:<dispossessed lane> (#61 round, suppressed) #108
Copilot's review of PR #61 (opensoft/openRepoTools#61, commit 2eecf29) suppressed this finding rather than posting it as an inline thread. Filed rather than dropped, under the 2026-09-16 ruling that Copilot is capped at two rounds per PR and #61 is already well past that — this is filed and claimed instead of taken in-PR.
Finding (Copilot, suppressed comment on docs/README-lanes.md:869)
The grammar table near lines 620–623 still documents TAKEOVER only as ← <stale claim URL>, but this new rule deliberately emits TAKEOVER ← lane:<dispossessed lane> for dead-lane/non-CLAIMED holds (and the next paragraph documents that form). The table therefore tells readers that valid logs produced by this PR are invalid; update the canonical grammar table as well.
Context quoted by Copilot, from docs/README-lanes.md around line 869 (the prose the table itself contradicts):
`--force` takes over a stale claim — or, per the dead-lane exception just
below, a dead lane's hold of any verb — and nothing else, writing one of TWO
payload forms for either reason (Copilot round 9, PR #61: this sentence
named only one). `TAKEOVER ← <the stale claim's comment URL>` when the hold
taken over was itself a `CLAIMED` posted as a GitHub comment and that
comment can still be found; `TAKEOVER ← lane:<the dispossessed lane>`
whenever it cannot — always true for a dead lane's own `OPENED`, `LANDING`,
What to do
Find the canonical grammar table near docs/README-lanes.md:620-623 and add the TAKEOVER ← lane:<dispossessed lane> form beside the existing TAKEOVER ← <stale claim URL> form, so the table matches what PR #61's own code emits and what the surrounding prose (line 869) already documents.
