Closed without merge: #641 will use dinit's supported boot-failure menu to enter authenticated recovery, with automatic recovery disabled. That configuration does not require this patch.
When automatic recovery starts a console-attached service, dinit 0.22.1 also enters its boot-failure prompt. Both read the console, so input intended for login can be interpreted as a reboot command.
Patch dinit to resume its service event loop when recovery is active, giving recovery exclusive console input. Keep the interactive fallback when recovery cannot start, and bump the recipe to release 2.
