LiteSummon is a Project Ascension collection manager for weighted mount and
companion summoning on the WoW 3.3.5 (Interface: 30300) client.
Open the manager with /litesummon, the LiteSummon entry under
ESC > Interface > AddOns, its minimap button, an LDB display such as
ChocolateBar, or the Open LiteSummon keybinding.
The manager provides:
- Searchable and filterable mount and companion libraries with sortable Mount/Companion, Source, and Weight columns.
- Six summon weights from Never through Favorite, selected directly from a compact themed dropdown.
- Direct summoning, bulk weight actions, and immediate saved changes.
- In-UI management of Ascension spellbook mounts.
- Removed custom spellbook mounts stay removed across reloads.
- Reversible mount archive with row-level BAN, a dedicated ARCHIVED view, editable saved weights, and weight-preserving RESTORE. Archived mounts are excluded from every LiteSummon macro, launcher, direct summon, and automation path.
- In-menu key capture for Weighted Mount, Weighted Companion, and Open LiteSummon.
- One-press mount swapping with guarded shapeshift and blocking-aura cleanup.
- Optional session-only form memory that restores the cleared form on a dismount-only LiteSummon activation.
- Safe automatic companion summoning with a configurable interval.
- Persistent window, minimap, filter, search, and collection settings.
Click a selected column header again to reverse its order. In the Weight column, click the dropdown and choose the exact weight you want.
The launcher controls are:
- Left-click: toggle the manager.
- Right-click: summon a weighted mount.
- Middle-click: summon a weighted companion.

The addon also provides keybindings and two macro targets:
/click LiteSummonMountButton
/click LiteSummonPetButton
The weighted-mount keybinding and LiteSummonMountButton macro target use a
secure action. When form cleanup is enabled, that action issues /cancelform
and exact /cancelaura <active form name> commands before casting the selected
mount. Existing saved keys remain attached to the normal LiteSummon binding.
Hold Shift while activating the mount command if you intentionally want to dismount while flying. The default behavior refuses to do that accidentally.
The Mounting page controls whether LiteSummon dismounts and summons the next mount during one activation. Disabling that option makes the first press dismount and the next press summon instead.
Form cleanup is explicit and can be disabled. When enabled, LiteSummon cancels
the active shapeshift plus exact known Reaper and Venomancer form auras,
including Ghost, Ghastly, Beetle, Spider, Vizier, Chitinous, Rotweaver, Wasp,
and Venomwing variants, before casting the requested mount. It also recognizes
the player's own castable helpful auras whose exact spell name ends in Form.
The additional blocking list accepts one exact helpful-aura name or spell ID
per line (commas also work). Ordinary buffs are never removed merely because
they are active.
Restore remembered form after dismount is a separate opt-in setting and is off by default. LiteSummon remembers at most one restorable player form for the current session. One-press mount swaps carry that memory forward. With one-press swapping disabled, pressing the LiteSummon mount action while mounted dismounts and attempts to recast the remembered form during that same hardware activation. If the client needs another protected action, the next LiteSummon mount activation retries once instead of mounting. Manual dismounts, death, zone changes, reloads, and timeouts discard the transient memory so it cannot cause a surprise cast later.
