Summary

  • The stale-operation alert (protocols/timelock/stale_operations.py) now runs the explainer used by the scheduled alert and adds the AI summary and Full details report link.
  • _get_ai_explanation in timelock_alerts.py is now public as get_ai_explanation so both scripts use it.
  • Operation now keeps each call's value from Envio, so native-value calls reach the explainer.
  • Follows SKIP_AI_SUMMARY_PROTOCOLS. If the explainer fails, the plain alert is still sent. The AI line is never truncated: call lines shrink to make room.
  • README and monitoring.yaml are updated.

Why

The Infinifi Shorttimelock reminder for operation 0xc3659adf3201d70801023c33c940a67642a16aae72265ca19bd2954345dbe20c showed only function signatures, so a reviewer had to find the original scheduled alert to see what the batch does.

The stale-operation reminder only listed decoded function signatures, so a
reviewer had to dig up the original scheduled alert to see what the batch
did. Run the same explainer the scheduled alert uses and append its summary
and full report link. Skipped protocols and explainer failures fall back to
the plain alert.

Dropping call lines could not make room for a summary longer than the entry
budget: the omitted-call notice is always added, so the entry overflowed and
chunk_entries raised, aborting alerts for that operation and every protocol
after it. Leave the summary out when it cannot fit with all calls dropped.
