Encar API Python Client — XAPI Korea

Python SDK for the XAPI Korea Encar API. Search used-car listings from Encar (Korea's largest used-car marketplace) and get prices, specs, photos and inspection history, with English translations of supported fields.

XAPI Korea is an independent service. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Encar.

Installation

Python 3.10 or newer is required.

python -m pip install xapikorea

Development setup

python -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate
python -m pip install -e .

For development, install the test and build tools:

python -m pip install -e ".[dev]"
python -m pytest
python -m build

Usage

Search the current inventory:

Retrieve full vehicle details and photos:

Retrieve the vehicle's inspection report:

Use base_url to point the client at a local API:
