The problem is that the $SPILLOVER field in the FCS 3.0 table in the LMD file exported from a Beckman Coulter's Navios cytometer is not strictly compliant to the FCS 3.1 standard ($SPILLOVER is defined in FCS 3.1). They use channel numbers instead of $PnN labels.

Handle the case (by matching the channel numbers to $PnN labels maybe) instead of throwing an error.
Additional context
Since you implemented support for some non-standard behavior before (like ignoring offset errors), you might consider implementing this one as well.
