I am Uraz Kağan Güneş, a Software Engineer, Lecturer, and researcher working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, software engineering, and applied machine learning. I currently serve as a Lecturer in the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Istanbul 29 Mayıs University, while continuing my Ph.D. studies in Computer Science at Özyeğin University.

My academic and research interests focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP), bioinformatics-oriented artificial intelligence applications, deep learning, and computational approaches for real-world analytical problems such as inflation and cost-of-living analysis. I have also worked on medical AI, including pneumonia detection using deep learning during my Master’s thesis in Computer Engineering at Altınbaş University.

In parallel with my academic work, I have a strong background in full-stack development, especially with C#, .NET Core, API design, scalable backend architectures, and secure software development. My combined experience in software engineering and AI research enables me to bridge practical system development with advanced research, contributing to impactful, interdisciplinary, and innovative projects.
