The project proposes a severity aware control architecture that optimizes vehicle impact configuration in un-avoidable side impact collisions. It addresses a research gap and the hierarchical framework synthesizes biomechanical risk factors into a real time optimization objective, to steer toward safer, energy absorbing structural zones.
