With themed icons on (Android 13+), the launcher tints every icon to the wallpaper palette, but it only has something to tint when the adaptive icon declares a <monochrome> layer. Without one, the app kept its full-colour icon among themed ones. The layer reuses the foreground note shape as a single solid shape, without the drop shadow. Older versions ignore it.
