Why

Make Fensu’s README an onboarding page rather than a second reference manual, while preserving the approved SQLStack identity.

Changes

• Reduce 396 lines to 127: one-sentence pitch, three capabilities, install/init/check flow with concise setup prose, verified finding/remedy, compact layout, documentation navigation and family discovery.
• Tighten the unchanged approved light/dark artwork and linked byline; remove repetitive marketing and the oversized map example.
• Remove the incorrect pre-release claim; keep setup edge cases in linked references and add quickstart navigation for existing configuration and language-specific setup.
• Replace obsolete documentation URLs with verified canonical fensu.io/docs links.
• Preserve README-only details in six existing reference pages: installation/runtime, layout guarantees, exceptions, Rust selectors and RuleContext. Keep the repository dead-code guide linked.
• Correct the reference’s file-exception description to match existing behavior. No runtime, map documentation or other-repository changes.

Verification

• Published 0.28.3 CLI: finding exit 1 before correction, exit 0 afterward; onboarding and file/symbol exception scope checked.
• All 15 canonical documentation URLs/fragments checked; site build passed with 53 pages, zero broken links.
• Content/whitespace and private hygiene checks passed. Independent review finding resolved and follow-up confirmed.
• Light/dark/narrow preview inspected; actual GitHub render and CI checked after push.

Held for Kevin’s inspection. Do not merge or enable auto-merge until approval. No release/publication requested.
