…bot.dev docker.sourcebot.dev is a third-party pull-tracking proxy. Its fallback mode answers with a 307 redirect to ghcr.io, and Podman, skopeo, Buildah and CRI-O (OpenShift) drop the bearer token on that cross-host redirect, so pulls fail with "unauthorized". Pulling from ghcr.io directly works. Refs SOU-2804 Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

docker.sourcebot.devis a third-party pull-tracking proxy. When it falls back to its CloudFront stack, it answers registry requests with a307redirect toghcr.ioinstead of proxying them. Podman, skopeo, Buildah and CRI-O (OpenShift) drop the bearer token on that cross-host redirect, so pulls fail withunauthorized. Docker happens to work because it carries headers across redirects. Pulling fromghcr.iodirectly works for every client.Existing installs that pin

Note
Low Risk
Default-only registry change with no application or auth logic changes; explicit repository overrides behave as before.
Overview
Changes the Helm chart’s default
sourcebot.image.repositoryfromdocker.sourcebot.dev/sourcebot-dev/sourcebottoghcr.io/sourcebot-dev/sourcebot, so new installs pull the image directly from GitHub Container Registry instead of the proxy that can redirect to ghcr.io and break auth on CRI-O (OpenShift), Podman, and similar clients.Docs and tests are aligned:

ghcr.io/sourcebot-dev/sourcebot. This may help avoid image-pull errors with CRI-O (OpenShift) and Podman.
