π¨ Severity: CRITICAL
π‘ Vulnerability: The
list_filesLua API inGregIoLuaModule.cspassed an unsanitized user-providedpatterndirectly toDirectory.GetFileswithSearchOption.AllDirectories.π― Impact: Malicious Lua scripts could exploit this by passing traversal patterns (e.g.,
../../secret.txt) to bypass thedatadirectory sandbox and enumerate or read arbitrary files on the host filesystem.π§ Fix: Added validation to the
searchPatternto securely reject patterns containing..,Path.DirectorySeparatorChar, orPath.AltDirectorySeparatorChar. If a traversal attempt is detected, it logs an error and safely returns an empty Lua table.β Verification:
GregIoLuaModule.cs.git diff.export DOTNET_ROLL_FORWARD=Major; dotnet test tests/gregCore.Tests.csproj. The build succeeded and there were no new regressions..jules/sentinel.mdand staged it.PR created automatically by Jules for task 5561698945807031164 started by @mleem97
