🚨 Severity: CRITICAL
💡 Vulnerability: The Lua binding greg.io.list_files(pattern) passed the user-provided pattern directly to Directory.GetFiles(). By supplying a pattern like ../*.txt, an attacker could bypass the dataDir sandbox and enumerate files arbitrarily across the filesystem.
🎯 Impact: Exploitation allows an attacker to discover the existence and names of sensitive files outside the designated sandbox, leading to information disclosure.
🔧 Fix: Added explicit validation to reject any search pattern containing path traversal characters (.., /, \) before it reaches Directory.GetFiles.
✅ Verification: Ran unit tests to confirm no regressions and verified manually using a test script that malicious patterns are rejected.
