π¨ Severity: CRITICAL
π‘ Vulnerability: The
patternargument inDirectory.GetFileswithinGregIoLuaModule.cswas not validated, allowing arbitrary file system enumeration by passing path traversal sequences (like..\\) through the Lua sandbox.π― Impact: An attacker or malicious mod script could enumerate and list the contents of arbitrary directories on the host machine, bypassing the intended sandbox.
π§ Fix: Added input validation for the
patternparameter to block strings containing..,/, or\, effectively neutralizing directory traversal attempts and enforcing the sandbox bounds.β Verification: Manual testing was performed with dummy paths to confirm
GetFilesbehavior. The patch application and.NETtest suite verify functionality remains intact.PR created automatically by Jules for task 7429835681369108093 started by @mleem97
