Static website for the Jik programming language.
Open index.html in a browser.
Shared navigation and footer live in src/partials/.
After changing them, run:
node scripts/build-site.jsOn Windows PowerShell, this also works:
npm.cmd run buildAfter publishing a new Jik release, regenerate the website content:
npm.cmd run updateThis updates the generated documentation pages, latest release card, and the package
list on packages.html, and the example sources on examples.html. It also keeps
the Linux download and VS Code extension installation commands in sync with the latest release. The package list is read from the ## Packages
section of the
jik-packages README.
To test the flow with fixtures:
npm.cmd run update:testCommit install.html, packages.html, examples.html, and the generated docs/ HTML files
after regenerating them.
To refresh just the examples from the compiler repository, run npm.cmd run update:examples.
For a local compiler checkout, use node scripts/update-examples.js --source ../jik/examples.
All .jik files are included, with new files appearing under "More examples" until grouped
in scripts/update-examples.js. Sources are embedded in the page, so browsing works offline
and does not need GitHub requests from visitors. The modules example includes both files.
