Alethic already routes verification with deterministic rules, but there is no concrete plan for testing whether fast semantic judgments would reduce repeated unproductive work. This note grounds a JEV pilot in the current router, error taxonomy, atom stability checks and saved trace formats.

The first proposed pilot records semantic repeated-failure assessments and next-check recommendations in shadow mode. The note also covers edit impact, context selection, bounded prefetch and tool-failure triage, along with independent evaluation, latency/cost accounting, verifier isolation and the companion read-only Farcaster profile command. This is documentation only; it does not integrate JEV or change research acceptance.

Validation: reviewed claims against the cited source files; checked all 13 local Markdown links; rechecked the cited TypeSafe capability and latency documentation; git diff --cached --check passes. No application tests or paid inference were run for this prose-only change.

Ground the proposed JEV pilot in Alethic's existing deterministic routing,
error taxonomy, atom stability and trace formats. Start with semantic
repetition and next-check recommendations in shadow mode, and record the
quality, latency and cost evidence needed before changing orchestration.

Link the note from future ideas. No runtime or integration change.
