Issue

PyPI / pyproject.toml metadata incorrectly listed MIT while the LICENSE file (and the owner) confirm Apache-2.0.

Description

The LICENSE file is Apache-2.0 and is left unchanged. This PR corrects published and in-repo metadata so it matches:

  • pyproject.toml: license = {text = "Apache-2.0"} and trove classifier License :: OSI Approved :: Apache Software License
  • README license section
  • Debian/RPM nfpm configs and packaging docs
  • Blog posts, landing-page footer, and the documentation-template contrib that previously pulled an MIT license text

Example VHS tapes that type mit.txt as sample remote content are unchanged; those are demos of fetching a file, not project license claims.

Verification

python -m build succeeded (structkit-3.3.0.tar.gz and structkit-3.3.0-py3-none-any.whl). Wheel METADATA contains:

  • License: Apache-2.0
  • Classifier: License :: OSI Approved :: Apache Software License
  • License-File: LICENSE

setuptools emits deprecation warnings that table-form project.license and license classifiers are going away in favor of a SPDX string; the requested classifier is still present so PyPI metadata stays explicit.

The LICENSE file is Apache-2.0, but PyPI/pyproject classifiers and
packaging metadata still said MIT. Update the license field, trove
classifier, README, docs, nfpm configs, and related mentions so
published metadata matches the actual license. Leave LICENSE unchanged.
