- 📂 Quick start: Extract the ZIP file anywhere (Local Drive or USB Flash Drive) and launch
HidaChat.exe. - 🔄 Automatic updates (OTA): HidaChat includes a built-in auto-updater. You can enable or disable the Beta channel at any time in Settings (

⚠️ Important Portability Note: Do not run HidaChat simultaneously from multiple computers accessing the same shared network folder. HidaChat is designed to be used by one PC at a time to prevent WebView2 profile lock conflicts.

- Add Accounts: Launch
HidaChat.exe. Click the+button on the top tab bar to choose from WhatsApp, Telegram, OpenClaw, or Hermes Agent. - Log In & Connect:
- WhatsApp: Scan the displayed QR code using your WhatsApp mobile app (Linked Devices).
- Telegram: Scan the QR code with your Telegram mobile app or log in via phone number / SMS code.
- OpenClaw: Enter your Gateway URL (default
http://127.0.0.1:18789or remote Tailnet IP/hostname) and Auth Token. Enable Tailscale Mesh Integration if connecting over a private Tailnet without installing Tailscale on Windows. Click Test Connection to verify status. - Hermes Agent: Enter the Hermes URL (default
http://127.0.0.1:9119or remote Tailnet address) and Auth Token / API Key (automatically injected as Bearer token). Enable Tailscale Mesh Integration if needed, and click Test Connection.
- Rename & Organize Tabs: Right-click on any tab header and select Rename to customize the label, or configure accounts anytime via Settings (⚙️).
- Translate Messages: Hover over any chat bubble in WhatsApp or Telegram to display the instant translation button 🌐.

HidaChat supports autonomous AI agent gateways and web consoles alongside standard instant messengers. Each AI tab runs in an isolated WebView2 environment with persistent storage, zero reload lag, and instant background preloading.
OpenClaw connects HidaChat to your local or private-cloud autonomous agent instances.
- Add the Account: Click the
+button in the top tab bar and select OpenClaw (or navigate to Settings (⚙️) ➔ Accounts ➔ Add account and choose OpenClaw from the platform dropdown). - Server / Gateway URL:

- Private Tailscale Mesh: If your OpenClaw gateway resides on a remote private Tailnet and you do not have (or want) Tailscale installed on your Windows PC, check "Usa nodo Tailscale integrato (tsnet portatile)".
- Deterministic Proxy & Device Identity: HidaChat runs an internal companion daemon (
tsnetd.exe) using deterministic loopback proxy ports (18800+). This ensures that your IndexedDB Ed25519 cryptographic device key pair remains permanently bound to the profile, completely eliminating repetitive device approval prompts (openclaw devices approve).
- Verify & Test:
- Click Test Connessione (Test Connection). A green status confirming connectivity and token validity will be displayed.
- Switch to the OpenClaw tab in the main window to start interacting with your autonomous agent.
Hermes Agent provides a responsive Web Console and Dashboard for Nous Research Hermes AI models and autonomous agent workflows.
