Project delivery predictions, from the people doing the work.
Genchi shows engineering leaders a prediction of which projects are heading for a missed deadline and which aren't, from the people doing the work. Giving every engineer a way to be heard, this prediction comes from their anonymous, one-click confidence vote in response to a regular, automated Slack prompt. Those votes are combined by project into a single score, tracked over time, so leaders can spot projects in trouble sooner and step in where needed, and, more importantly, know which teams to leave alone.
- On a cadence you set, Genchi runs an automated confidence check in Slack, asking each team member one question: how confident are you the team will achieve their goal by the deadline?
- Each person answers with a single anonymous click, rating their confidence from 1 (Doubtful) to 5 (Certain). The scale is inspired by the fist of five used in SAFe.
- Votes are combined by project into a single confidence score, tracked over time.
- The portfolio view shows engineering leaders every project at a glance: which are heading for a missed deadline, which need attention, and which teams to leave alone.
- Team members see how their teammates view the project and how the teams they depend on are doing.
