A lightweight admin client for SpacetimeDB standalone servers — browse, query, and edit tables with a DBeaver-style UI.

Built with Electron, Vite, React, TypeScript, and shadcn/ui.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Node.js

• A running SpacetimeDB standalone server:

  spacetime start

Install & Run

npm install

# Renderer only, in a browser (http://localhost:5174)
npm run dev:web

# Full Electron app

Known Limitations

WarpDrive is built against SpacetimeDB's current HTTP SQL API, which has a few hard constraints:

• No OFFSET / ORDER BY support — sorting and pagination are handled client-side
• INSERT requires a value for every column (no partial inserts); NULL literals aren't supported
• Complex types (enum/option/array/product, aside from Timestamp) can't be expressed as SQL literals — no input widgets for these column types until SpacetimeDB supports it
• No DDL endpoints — table/column schema changes require republishing the module, not something a client can do
