Draft EBI integration branch for the Sibyl Labs Hackathon.

Current evaluated profile

This branch keeps canonical Engram intact while adding a hackathon-specific, load-bearing Sibyl persistence profile plus two causal partner paths:

Virtuals/provider execution evidence
  -> Engram observation
  -> Sibyl relationship memory
  -> fresh Engram recall
  -> provider/authority decision changes
  -> Base economic settlement authority changes

Implemented and locally verified:

  • truth-locked EBI wrapper, evaluator gates, requirement/evidence manifests;
  • pinned sibyl-memory-client evaluated dependency and public-SDK Python bridge;
  • SibylRuntimeStore implementing Engram's full runtime-store contract with no Cockroach fallback on the judged path;
  • fresh-process persistence -> recall -> influence proof;
  • deletion mutation proving removal of Sibyl materially breaks/degrades the claimed memory function;
  • expiry and post-recall state-tamper fail-closed tests;
  • contradictory-memory pressure with explicit SUPERSEDES adjudication;
  • flagship Experiential Provider Continuity from multiple prior execution episodes;
  • contextual influence: urgent work can switch provider, routine work can retain the provider while narrowing terms/authority;
  • self-verifying evidence capture with fresh DB/tenant, separate processes, git/time/runtime provenance, dependency/output/database SHA-256 receipts and source-drift veto;
  • Virtuals ACP evidence adapter/live-ingest path with terminal-failure causal precedence;
  • Base Sepolia settlement-authority adapter deriving recipient/prepay from the Engram decision;
  • schema-bound serialized Base settlement intent with amount-consistency checks;
  • Base receipt verifier independently checking RPC chain ID and rejecting wrong payer (when bound), token, recipient, amount, or reverted transaction;
  • fresh Sibyl-backed provider decisions can emit the exact serialized Base settlement artifact used by the live verifier;
  • non-custodial Base verification command: no signer/private-key material is held by Engram.

Current evidence baseline

Pre-build-window only — not final hackathon evidence.

Strongest tested code head: bd02738a57ebb4bde1bdc68bc5ff475b1bbdad64

  • Engram CI 33264580330: SUCCESS
    • canonical check job 99132270601: SUCCESS
    • Sibyl profile job 99132270544: SUCCESS
    • 7-test Sibyl pressure suite: SUCCESS
    • fresh routine Sibyl decision emitted Base settlement intent: SUCCESS
    • emitted Base intent parsed as Atlas + 800000 atomic USDC + milestone verification + retrieval provenance: SUCCESS
    • deletion mutation: SUCCESS
    • exact evidence-capture smoke: SUCCESS
    • evidence manifest check: SUCCESS
  • Engram SAM Build 33264580331: SUCCESS

This head directly proves the cross-layer boundary fresh Sibyl recall -> Engram constrained decision -> serialized Base authority artifact; Base is no longer proven only by isolated settlement-unit tests.

Earlier evidence-harness failure 33232299952 remains retained: the first strict capture guard rejected a generated package-lock.json even though all underlying product/Sibyl phases passed. The corrected harness explicitly classifies known setup residue while rejecting real source drift.

Later documentation commits may record this evidence but do not strengthen it.

Partner boundary

Virtuals

IMPLEMENTED / LOCAL_CONFORMANCE_PASS / LIVE_ACP_UNVERIFIED.

Virtuals is the external economic-execution evidence source. Promotion requires a real authenticated ACP testnet job whose retained history is ingested as Engram execution evidence and later contributes to a Sibyl-backed memory that changes a fresh decision.

Base

IMPLEMENTED / LOCAL_CONFORMANCE_PASS / LIVE_BASE_UNVERIFIED.

Base is the economic consequence layer downstream of remembered authority:

  • urgent memory changes settlement recipient Atlas -> Beacon;
  • routine memory keeps Atlas but changes initial prepayment 4.000000 -> 0.800000 USDC and requires milestone verification.

The live gate requires:
remembered decision == serialized settlement intent == independently observed Base settlement, including Base Sepolia chain 84532, Circle USDC, expected payer when bound, recipient, amount and successful receipt.

No real Base Sepolia settlement has been executed yet. BASE-001 remains UNVERIFIED and no Base multiplier is claimed.

Judge navigation

The root README now exposes Sibyl write/read/influence/conflict/deletion/evidence paths plus the Base settlement intent/verifier and Virtuals evidence boundary. Partner live runbooks are hackathon/sibyl/BASE_LIVE_RUN.md and hackathon/sibyl/VIRTUALS_LIVE_RUN.md.

Submission state

READY_FOR_LIVE_PRESSURE, not submission-ready.

Outstanding gates include:

  • official Sep 1–10 build-window revalidation and regenerated artifact evidence;
  • real Virtuals ACP execution if claiming Virtuals;
  • real decision-linked Base Sepolia action if claiming Base;
  • continuous cold-start demo capture with timestamp/commit hash;
  • human cold-review timing of the README call map;
  • final submission README/evidence freeze;
  • 2–5 minute video and required public posts.

Prior work

Canonical Engram and all work on this branch completed before Sep 1 must be declared as prior work. Final submission claims must distinguish pre-window engineering from work/evidence generated during the official build window.

This PR stays draft and must not be merged merely because pre-window CI is green.
