Summary

Cuts Dependabot PR noise without auto-merging anything.

  • Schedule: weekly → monthly, for npm and GitHub Actions.
  • Groups: minor and patch updates are grouped into one runtime PR (@modelcontextprotocol/sdk, zod, which are bundled into the extension) and one dev PR. Major updates still open their own PRs. GitHub Actions updates are grouped into one PR.
  • Cooldown: Dependabot waits 7 days (14 for majors) after a release before proposing it, so a compromised or quickly superseded publish is less likely to land here.

Runtime and dev updates stay separate so the runtime PR can get a build:mcpb smoke test while the dev PR stays low-risk. Merging is still manual.

No code or user-visible change, so no version bump or CHANGELOG entry.
