Robert Sweetman

I build security and AI tools that tell people the truth, in plain words.

Fifteen years in Laborers' Local 22. Nine years as my father's caregiver. Since January 2026, building in the open: I make the decisions, and AI (mostly Claude) writes most of the code. Every site says which AI helped and what isn't finished.

What I'm building

Project What it does Status
aiconsumerrights.org Your rights when AI makes decisions about you, in plain words and eight languages, plus a blameless forum for finding common ground. Live · MIT
plainspoken.site Rewrites what you'd say into a prompt an AI understands, and shows you why, so you stop needing it. No account, nothing stored. Live · MIT
patchowner.com Exploited-vulnerability notices written for the person who has to act, for towns and small businesses with no security team. Proof of concept · BSL 1.1
graphsmith.dev Design AI workflows as graphs you can inspect, simulate, and test before anything runs. Nothing leaves your browser. Prototype · BSL 1.1

How I work

  • Say only what I can back. Each site names its sources, its tools, and its AI help.
  • Collect as little as possible, and say plainly what's kept.
  • Credit people by name. Ideas, research, and code that came from others are linked.
  • Critique ideas, never people.
  • Accept correction. If something here is wrong, open an issue on any repo.

Learning now

  • CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701), exam November 2026
  • Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate, in progress
