Pytest failures in CI currently appear only in the job log, which makes them hard to find on the changed lines. Loading the annotate-failures plugin makes pytest report failures inline on the GitHub Actions diff.

  • Add --with=pytest-github-actions-annotate-failures to both uv run pytest invocations in .github/workflows/ci.yml.
  • Keep the plugin out of project dependencies and lockfiles.

Add the pytest-github-actions-annotate-failures plugin to every pytest invocation via uv --with. The plugin is not added to project dependencies or lockfiles.
