Mini EQ version
0.8.7
Install method
pipx
Linux distribution and version
Gentoo Linux x86_64 Kernel 7.2.3-gentoo
Desktop/session
KDE Wayland
PipeWire and WirePlumber versions
1.6.8 0.5.15
Steps to reproduce
- Set your sound card's sample rate to 192000Hz
- Open mini-eq
- Open System-wide EQ
- Play your music or a test voice
- Change the band
- Then you'll realize that the EQ was actually set to the wrong frequency!
Expected behavior
No matter the sound card's frequency, the EQ should always be adjusted accurately.
Actual behavior
The EQ overall shifted the wrong frequency, and the frequency curve capturer also got generally misaligned.
When the sound card's sampling rate is at 48000 Hz, this problem doesn't exist.
