Changes

  • Disable aider RepoMap for both explicit-target invocations, avoiding its untracked .aider.tags.cache.v4 side effect without weakening the unexpected-file guard.
  • Recognize exact GitHub CLI app/renovate and app/dependabot bot identities and canonical [bot] identities in merge and repair selection. Reject bare usernames, lookalikes, and explicit nonbot authors.
  • Preserve existing merge health/review checks and three-repair cap; add regression fixtures that execute the workflow shell selectors against local mocks only.

Verification

  • 39 guard tests pass, including both aider invocation flags, accepted source edits, unexpected cache rejection, bot identity fixtures, and merge/repair guard preservation.
  • bash syntax, actionlint, and workflow Prettier checks pass.
  • No live AI call or maintenance dispatch; exhausted provider credits remain a separate account blocker.
  • No permission, credential, billing, or branch-protection changes.

Required follow-up to the merged daily maintenance repair. Exact-head CI will be verified before merge.
