MSc Student in ICT & Internet Engineering | Cloud & Network Engineering | AI-Driven Network Automation
Hi, I’m Mo’men Atoum. I’m doing a Master’s degree in ICT and Internet Engineering at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy. My work sits between networking, cloud infrastructure, and AI, mostly around how networks are managed and automated and how reliable they stay.
My current research looks at the safety of agentic AI in network management, specifically how automated operations interact with existing services and shared network resources. Outside research, I build and experiment with infrastructure systems to see how they work underneath.
- Agentic AI and LLMs for network management
- AI-driven network automation and orchestration
- Network safety, reliability, and service dependencies
- Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and network virtualization
- Cloud-native infrastructure and distributed systems
- Network architecture, routing, and communication protocols
- Segment Routing over IPv6 (SRv6)
- Overlay networking, Open vSwitch, and VXLAN
- Mobile networks (4G/5G)
- Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
- QEMU/KVM virtualization
- Docker and containerized environments
- Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures
- OpenStack architecture and infrastructure
- LLM-based network management agents
- Network automation and experimental testbeds
- Containerlab-based network experimentation
- Evaluation of network configuration and operational safety
I’m open to projects on network automation, cloud infrastructure, SDN, and distributed systems.
