- The new `All required checks passed` job decides whether CI passed: every job must succeed, except the long tests on release-only PRs and macOS outside `apple/coreai-optimization`. - Adding, removing, or renaming test jobs no longer needs a branch rule change, only an edit to that job's `needs` list. - Release-only PRs (only `_about.py`, `CHANGELOG.md`, or `changelog.d/` changed) skip the tutorial tests and the full macOS and Linux runs. - The branch rule must be switched to require `All required checks passed` after this merges.
