The v1.0.0 release notes said the app runs on Apple silicon and Intel. The macos-15 runner is arm64, though, so the binary was arm64-only. I have already corrected the v1.0.0 notes to say Apple silicon only.

  • scripts/build-app.sh: UNIVERSAL=1 builds with --arch arm64 --arch x86_64.
  • build.yml: sets UNIVERSAL=1, and the smoke test runs lipo -verify_arch arm64 x86_64.

Tested locally: lipo -archs shows x86_64 arm64, and a scan runs on both slices (x86_64 under Rosetta).

The release notes promise Intel support, but the macos-15 runner built an
arm64-only binary. build-app.sh gains UNIVERSAL=1, CI sets it, and the smoke
test checks both slices with lipo.
