RootStack is archived and read-only. It is no longer maintained and will not receive updates, fixes, or responses to issues.
RootStack was the database layer of a RootStack → BridgeStack → ViewStack pipeline. That pipeline carried most of the OpenStacks maintenance cost and the research toolkits never actually depended on it, so all three have been retired together.
Nothing has been deleted. The schemas, seed data, and queries below stay public, forkable, and citable. Clone it and use it — just don't expect maintenance.

The database layer for OpenStacks — structured development data for India and South Asia.
RootStack provides a SQLite database with schemas, seed data, and ready-to-use queries covering three domains:
- Development Indicators — Health, education, gender, and climate data at state and district level (NFHS-5, SRS, UDISE+, CPCB)
- Government Schemes — Central and state schemes with budget allocation, spending, and coverage data
- Tools Catalog — Registry of all scripts, notebooks, and templates across the OpenStacks ecosystem
