Summary

  • Hardens CLI state validation, revision proof, managed-path handling, and release automation.
  • Adds per-artifact revision metadata, clearer init/status guidance, and documentation/template updates.
  • Prepares and validates release v1.2.0.

Verification

  • npm run check: repository validation passed; 51 tests, 48 pass, 3 skipped (Windows symlink EPERM); benchmark passed within limits.
  • gh skill publish --dry-run: ok.
  • Official Agent Skills validator (hash-pinned requirements): Valid skill.
  • npm run smoke:hosts: exit 3, inconclusive because GitHub Copilot and OpenCode are not installed. This is not a pass.

Release metadata

  • package.json, SKILL.md, CITATION.cff, README version badge, and CHANGELOG.md aligned to 1.2.0.
  • Release notes are generated by the tag-triggered Release workflow after full verification.

- Exclude the run log from revision fingerprints and record changed source artifacts.
- Reject empty option values, invalid init states, dangling reparse points, blank reasons, and incomplete gate blocks.
- Fix stale-final marking, state-write rollback, exit classification, status aliases, and init guidance.
- Run the full check suite, official validator, and publish dry-run in the tag release workflow.
- Require release, docs, Dependabot, and lint configuration files in repository validation.
- Align templates, references, README, evaluations, and changelog with the hardened contract.
Align package, skill metadata, citation, README badge, and changelog for the v1.2.0 release.
