SWARM (ticker SWM) is a cryptocurrency with its own proof-of-work blockchain, built for one thing: payments that stay private. A shielded SWARM payment keeps the sender, the receiver and the amount encrypted on the chain itself, using zero-knowledge proofs; the network still verifies that the payment is valid. There are at most 20,999,987 SWM, every one of them mined: no premine, no sale, no presale, no token offering. The mainnet has been live since 26 September 2026.
The software is open source and lives in the repositories of this account:
- SWARM Wallet — desktop and Android wallet, shielded or transparent payments (privacy-wallet)

SWM is mined, not sold. Nobody sets a price or promises one. The project never asks for recovery words, private keys or a payment.
