Why "Serenus"?
Serenus is Latin for clear, bright, and tranquil. The name also comes from Annaeus Serenus, the younger friend of the Stoic philosopher Seneca. His letter to Seneca opens De Tranquillitate Animi ("On Tranquility of Mind"), a short work about staying steady and unhurried in a restless world.
That is the standard we hold our engineering to: composed under pressure, deliberate in decisions, and quiet in the final product.
Ceyloro is a local-first desktop file converter built around a fast radial workflow. It converts images, PDFs, audio, video, subtitles, documents, and archives while keeping processing on the user’s device.
