The autocti fits_fit missing-directory bug is fixed in PyAutoCTI, so the temporary FAST_PLOTS=0 workaround is no longer needed. The 3 release smoke scripts pass with it on (about 10s / 9s / 26s locally, down from 46s / 34s / 98s). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
