🚀 Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v16 or higher)
• npm or yarn
• Google Gemini API key
• Clerk account for authentication

Installation

1. Clone the repository

   git clone <repository-url>
   cd AI-Job-Automator

2. Install dependencies

   npm install

3. Set up environment variables

   Copy the example environment file:

   cp .env.example .env

   Update the .env file with your API keys:

   # Google Gemini API Key
   # Get from: https://makersuite.google.com/app/apikey
   GEMINI_API_KEY=your_gemini_api_key_here
   
   # Clerk Authentication Keys
   # Get from: https://dashboard.clerk.com/
   VITE_CLERK_PUBLISHABLE_KEY=your_clerk_publishable_key_here
   CLERK_SECRET_KEY=your_clerk_secret_key_here

4. Run the development server

   npm run dev

5. Open your browser

   Navigate to http://localhost:5173 to see the application.

🔑 API Keys Setup

Google Gemini API

1. Visit Google AI Studio
2. Create a new API key
3. Add it to your .env file as GEMINI_API_KEY

Clerk Authentication

1. Sign up at Clerk
2. Create a new application
3. Copy the publishable key and secret key
4. Add them to your .env file
