A workflow is now a draft or it is live. A live one processes production data and is read-only, so to change it you edit it in a sandbox: the workflow is cloned in as a draft, you turn it on there to test against its own webhook URL and schedules, and you promote it back when it is right. Every go-live, promote and restore is recorded as a version, and any version can be restored while production keeps running. The editor also asks before it throws away unsaved changes. Switching version, opening a run that pins one, and leaving for a sandbox each destroyed the collaborative document silently. None of this reaches anyone without experimental features turned on. With the flag off the editor is the one on main. Four fixes do reach everyone. The project environment field is read-only, because an admin could retype it and read another environment's credential values. A sandbox can no longer be merged into its own descendant. A merge updates an open editor rather than leaving it stale, which used to overwrite the merge on the next save. And undo and redo are disabled while reading an older version, where they were writing into that version's document.
