Auto-Rename

Asynchronous Telegram channel bot that parses, cleans, and standardizes video filenames according to release syntax standards.

Architecture

• Parser Engine: Tokenizes raw filenames using anitopy to extract title, season index, episode numbering, and release groups.
• Worker Queue: Sequentially downloads incoming files, generates thumbnails, extracts video dimensions, and re-uploads standardized media.
• Metadata Extractor: Uses hachoir to read container duration, resolution, and audio channels.

Output Format

Generates standardized target filenames:

[Series Title] [Season 01] [Episode 08] [ReleaseSuffix].mkv

Prerequisites

• Python 3.9+
• FFMPEG (for thumbnail extraction)

Configuration

Set credentials in config.env:

Variable	Description
API_ID	Telegram API ID from my.telegram.org
API_HASH	Telegram API Hash from my.telegram.org
BOT_TOKEN	Bot token from @BotFather
OWNER_ID	Authorized administrator ID

Run

pip install -r requirements.txt
python3 -m bot
