Aviary is an agent harness control surface: it manages what your coding agents read — skills, prompts, subagents, MCP servers and instruction files — and runs them, from your desktop, browser or phone.
Aviary is a fork of T3 Code by the T3 Tools team, used under the MIT License. The harness, session layer, transport and clients are their work. See
NOTICE.md.
Works with your subscriptions on Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Grok Build, OpenCode, and Google Antigravity. If they're set up on your computer, Aviary can control them.
Nothing. Aviary exists because managing what an agent reads — skills, prompts, subagents, MCP servers, instruction files — deserves the same care as running it. T3 Code already solved the running part, openly and well, so Aviary starts from their work rather than rebuilding it badly.
Warning
Aviary has no published package or packaged build yet. Everything below is
build-from-source. npx aviary@latest is the command it will be, not one
that works today.
Warning
Aviary currently supports Codex, Claude, Cursor, Grok Build, OpenCode, and Antigravity. Install and authenticate at least one provider before use:
- Codex: install Codex CLI and run
codex login - Claude: install Claude Code and run
claude auth login - Cursor: install Cursor CLI and run
agent login - Grok Build: install Grok Build CLI and run
grok login - OpenCode: install OpenCode and run
opencode auth login - Antigravity: enable it in Settings, then use Install Antigravity and Sign in with Google. No CLI is required.
Requires Node.js 24.13.1+ and vp.
pnpm install
pnpm devThis launches Aviary's backend on your machine along with the local web app to control your agents.
Build it yourself:
pnpm dist:desktop:dmg:arm64There are no published releases, and no winget, Homebrew or AUR packages.
Those channels belong to the upstream project and would install a different
application; the packaging under packaging/ is inherited and
not yet pointed anywhere Aviary controls. Signed builds and a real update feed
arrive with the infrastructure work.
We are very very early in this project. Expect bugs.
We are (mostly) not accepting contributions yet. Small fixes may be considered. Big features will not be.
