Summary

Closes T12. The second delivery (v0.1.4) went green on its first attempt. The delivery queue held a manual run while a release was delivering. Rollback and return of both the service and the SPA, using the documented commands, took about half a minute each way. This PR records those results and two findings; it changes documents only.

What was checked live (2026-10-14)

  • The cd queue.
    • The Deploy button was pressed during the release's delivery.
    • Its run stayed pending and started one second after the release's last delivery job.
    • It then delivered the same release, and its apply reported 0 added, 0 changed, 0 destroyed.
  • The first-delivery checklist on v0.1.4 passed on every item, including the load alert and its channel.
  • Rollback and return.
    • Traffic was pinned to the v0.1.3 revision and the v0.1.3 Hosting version was cloned to live; /health and the page both named v0.1.3.
    • Traffic then went back with --to-latest, the v0.1.4 version was cloned back, and both named v0.1.4 again.
  • just usage 1d: 31.1 vCPU-seconds, 0.017% of a month's free tier.

Changes

  • docs/live/01-first-deploy.md: the report is closed, with both deliveries in UTC, the queue check, rollback and return, the checklist on both releases, costs and findings.
  • docs/self-hosting.md:
    • the Hosting releases listing shows each release's type (DEPLOY vs ROLLBACK), takes 20 rows and tolerates releases without a version;
    • it now passes the token in a header from a file descriptor, never as a curl argument;
    • the rollback section records that it was verified.
  • RUN.md:
    • T12 is marked done, with its part-2 record and open items;
    • two of T11's open items are closed;
    • new debt Д15: redelivering a release rebuilds its image with a new digest, which moves the tag and uses up cleanup slots a rollback may need.

How it was verified

  • All required checks are green.
  • Every command quoted in the report and the checklist ran against prod as written.
