Gallery photos now expose a visual history of their original, current saved edit, and archived PSD versions. Users can page through previews, drag a before/after comparison divider, and restore any saved version as a new unsaved layered document.
Snapshot creation uses exclusive filenames, including when several saves share a timestamp. A failed archive now stops the save, revert, or batch replacement before the existing edit is overwritten. Moving a photo moves only its matching archived versions.

make check-version-history: 11 focused tests covering archive discovery, thumbnail selection, restore, photo moves, and batch snapshot safety.make lint-app,make check-i18n, andmake check-app-webon this standalone branch.The new strings use the existing i18n catalogs, with translations in all 149 non-English locales, including generated aliases. Usage and archive behavior are documented in
docs/gallery.md.Translations were authored and separately reviewed by GPT-5.6 Sol agents. The locale audit includes short labels, preserved placeholders and numeric limits, and channel direction.
make check-i18nvalidates the updated standalone branch, including font coverage and locale aliases.
