I've been writing software for most of my life.
Over the years, I've worked on developer infrastructure, distributed systems, consumer products, AI systems, healthtechs, edtechs, 2D games, and more than a few ideas that probably should have remained ideas.
These days I'm particularly interested in AI, product engineering, and using software to attack messy real-world problems.

I'm interested in software as a force multiplier -- not another CRUD application or chatbot, but systems that let one competent person do the work that previously required ten.
I've spent roughly 18 years building software professionally and otherwise, including engineering work in Big Tech, and time as a CTO / technical co-founder in fintech and edtech.
I briefly went to medical school for a few years too. Long story.
I read a lot (see my website for my current reading list), play an unreasonable amount of pool, and occasionally disappear down medical or neuroscience rabbit holes.
