Large DOM snapshots repeatedly scanned sibling paths and computed names and geometry for elements excluded by role filters. Indexing siblings within each walk and filtering earlier reduces extraction time by 3.25–9.46× in the recorded public-page role queries; these are extraction measurements, not whole-task speed claims.

This release also packages an optional Python reader and separate brw_ask MCP adapter. Operators configure models, classifier modes, endpoints, credentials and budgets; agents receive bounded answer/source/trace packets while full evidence and diagnostics stay in private artifacts. Updated skills document discovery, CLI fallback and the separate Maix/cloud registration step.

Validation: full pre-push task check; 34 Python worker/protocol tests; archive-content and upgrade tests; a live official Python MCP SDK 2.2.0 call using DeepSeek/Jev returned 549 characters from a 30,035-character source and closed its owned tab. Recorded frontier API replay savings and their quality/caching/latency limitations are included in the measurement artifacts.

Release target: v0.19.0. Deployment handoff: docs/reader-deployment.md.
