Hello, I have a similar issue to #70 but I see that was closed.

I've setup the docker image to run and configured my Apache server to forward request to the docker port but unlike other apps I've setup due to the nuxt and axios configs use the default URL path of "/" creating a reverse proxy to say "/tasks" is ignored, at least in Apache 2.4.62 on a Debian server

I can get it to function via the reverse proxy but nuxt-router forces the app to drop backk to the "/" path.

Would it be possible to create a enviroment variable to set the base path?

Can you share the config of your reverse proxy? To make it work, the /tasks part should be stripped when sending it to backend

This works and I can get to the APIs but the issue is more with the frontend calls to the next bundle and service worker. So the UI never loads.

I've been able to get it to function but it's very much a hack of my site config.

The below is in a Virtual host config

This fixes my setup but it may not work for others.

Edit - Added the line ProxyHTMLDocType html5 as without it mod_proxy_html will not set the DocType on re-write and some browsers may open the page in the quicks mode and break the CSS.

It might be possible to close this as this works in Apache2.4, more my bad for this being my HTTP server of choice.

I use nginx, but overall my issue is similar, and I also hope to solve it finally once =)). Supporting non-root base URL could be great, of course.

Right now, I have the following:

• TaskWarrior-WebUI running at http://127.0.0.1:8083
• Published path /twu... on my domain — let's say my-domain.tld, so, finally https://my-domain.tld/twu/
• And several another sites and services on my-domain.tld

And nginx config:

It is basically working, but first it draws the top bar and «404 This page could not be found Home page» instead of the rest of UI itself. Then, clicking on the link helps: it brings me to https://my-domain.tld/ address in browser address bar (as the link tells), where it (surprisingly!) shows the complete UI and even works until I refresh the page. When I refresh the page, it renders the original content of https://my-domain.tld/ (and thanks it!).

@DCsunset @minusInfinite Can you please take a look on my config and tell what have I done wrong? I want TaskWarrior WebUI to just be available at https://my-domain.tld/twu/, but I am missing what I am missing =)). Thank you very much in advance! =)
