What this does

Adds a Flash / Pro model picker beside Effort in the prompt composer (TiffyPanel). The choice is sent with every cloud generation as model: "flash" | "pro".

Flash Pro
Free user selected faded with a lock, reads "Upgrade to unlock"; clicking it opens the pricing page and doesn't select it
Paid user (any active plan) selectable selected by default
  • Losing the plan (or never having one) puts the user back on Flash.
  • Local projects don't show the picker, because they run on the browser's own provider key.
  • The editor never names a model. The backend decides which model each option is (AI_MODEL for Flash, PRO_AI_MODEL for Pro), so the model behind Pro can change without an editor release.

Needs the backend

COPPSARY/Motify-Backend#69 adds model to the message API (the pro key itself shipped in #68). An older backend rejects an unknown model field, so deploy #69 before this.

Tests

tsc --noEmit is clean, and svelte-check reports 0 errors and 0 warnings. TiffyPanel, src/ai and src/cloud pass 65 of 65 tests. The 3 new composer tests cover:

  • a locked Pro opens pricing and isn't selected;
  • a paid user can switch between Pro and Flash;
  • local projects show no picker.

I haven't looked at the picker in a browser.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

A picker beside Effort chooses the model for cloud generations and sends it
as `model: "flash" | "pro"`. Flash is for everyone. Pro is the paid plans'
model: subscribers start on it and can switch to Flash, and losing the plan
puts them back on Flash. For a free user Pro is faded with a lock, reads
"Upgrade to unlock", and opens the pricing page instead of being selected.
The editor never names the model behind Pro; the backend's PRO_AI_MODEL does,
so it can change without an editor release. Local projects show no picker.
