Adds An Opening, a comic fantasy story in which a goblin paladin brings an orc wizard, elven barbarian, and Goliath rogue to register their first party. His imagined heroic entrance gives way to a shared plan for their first commission, with a real cost in equipment, control, and trust.
The package preserves the exact prompt, provisional outline, prose, editorial decisions, and final General rating. It includes a portrait cover, individual multi-view reference sheets for all four party members, and a guild interior painting with its original and selected correction. The story remains
canon: false.Independent Codex and authenticated Claude subscription readers discussed the outline, cold draft, and fresh final whole story with the writer. Revisions tightened the rehearsal, made the collateral exchange reciprocal, clarified the rope mechanism, and kept the thieves present in the unarmored choice. The final readers reread the complete revised prose; all four character sheets and selected art were visually inspected and dimensions verified. No code tests were needed for this story-only change.
The guild-door ending deliberately completes party formation without appending the raid. One reader retained an appetite for a later resistance encounter while identifying it as taste; the coordinator preserves the ending because the choice, reciprocal trust, and altered departure complete this story's arc. Existing stories and universe authority are unchanged.
