Adds No Vacancy, a roughly 2,900-word non-canon story from the preserved familiar-bond prompt. Fenna's teacher explains the creatures' refusals through an overlooked bond with her ordinary elderly dog, Crumb. Discovering his scent-world gives her a choice that costs her this class's first ascent, without turning ambition into a fault or granting the dog a compensating power.
The package includes the exact prompt, provisional outline, finished prose, editorial memory, General rating, an inspected cover, Crumb's multi-view reference sheet, and the original and selected lane paintings. Art prompts and selection reasons are retained beside the assets.
Independent Codex and authenticated subscription Claude readings challenged the outline, draft, and final whole story, with actual exchanges among writer and readers. Both fresh final readers reread the completed local repair distinguishing a quiet bond from release. The coordinator judges the story ready because the reveal is fairly planted, the sensory pleasure and lost ascent are experienced, and the ending lets disappointment coexist with curiosity. Possible mortality resonance remains deliberately unspoken; it does not establish an imminent death or a lifespan bargain.
Prompt fulfillment, shared authority, names, and continuity were checked. Selected art was inspected for fidelity, identity, anatomy, readable text, and final dimensions. Rating was assigned after the prose and cover were final. No canon promotion, shared-universe changes, site publication, or merge is included.
