Extreme goal fields could erase a declared odds floor or produce an infinite lift. Compute the lift with max-shifted log-sum-exp, and report floor proofs as unknown when checked field bounds leave the normal exponential range. The negative- and positive-field checks now both return safety odds 0.100001 with a finite lift.

Accept the half-unit tolerance needed to read six-decimal states written at higher-precision caps. Mark probbit_live_event as mutable and non-destructive, strip control characters from plain monitor frames, and label Drives and monitor as 0.8.0, unreleased in the README.

Validation:

  • Reproduced the floor, state continuation, MCP annotation, terminal output and README issues before the changes; the same checks pass afterward.
  • Added checks for extreme fields, JSON and human proof output, rounded state continuation, cap tolerance, MCP strand writes and plain frames with C0/C1 controls.
  • Release-mode workspace checks: 249 tests pass, one existing test ignored. The monitor suite was rerun with TERM=xterm-256color because TERM=dumb forces ASCII in its Unicode check. All 11 MCP tests pass.
  • All 25 existing golden/fixture files remain byte-identical. The README diff contains only the two heading labels.
  • No dependency or workflow changes.
