Stacked on #32 (base release/v0.1.7).

Why

Several themes in the panel had almost nothing to practice: for English at B2, telefone 3 items, saúde 4, emergência 5, social 8, compras 13. Ticking one of them repeated the same few phrases. Portuguese for English speakers was first words only.

What

116 new lessons per language, the same real-life situations in each, every one with a polished answer, a short one where a shorter form is natural, an A1–B1 level, accepted variants and a tip where a false friend or pronunciation trap is likely.

Theme New per language English total at B2
telefone 14 17
saúde 14 18
emergência 13 18
social 14 22
compras 13 26
restaurante (A2) 5 54
viagem (A2) 5 44
primeiros contatos (A2, B1) 8 40
saúde e social (B1) 4 44
rotina e transporte 8 40
casa e burocracia (home, bank) 8 32
gírias e conversa (everyday slang) 10 33
  • English and Spanish for pt-BR speakers: 116 each.
  • Spanish for English speakers: all 116 translated in decks/i18n/es.en/.
  • Portuguese for English speakers: the same 116 as full phrases in a new decks/pt/, with 16 general tips, plus 25 more first words and chunks in pt.basics.toml. The pt-BR deck was first-steps only; its test now asks for full phrases instead of forbidding them.
  • Every core topic now climbs pre-A1 to B1 in both pt-BR decks: LADDER_GAPS is empty.
  • Nothing repeats a phrase already in the curated, basics or Lexicaster decks (checked across all files; the drafts had 10 repeats, replaced).

One folder per language, one file per theme (decks/en/work.toml, decks/es/health.toml, decks/pt/phone.toml, decks/i18n/es.en/…): deck.toml holds the header and tips, each theme file holds its phrases, and themed! in learn/deck.rs joins them at compile time. File names are English; the topic keys inside stay pt-BR. The split itself changed nothing: a dump of every built-in deck (phrases, tiers, meanings, tips) was identical before and after.

Tests

Run on Windows: cargo fmt --check and cargo clippy --all-targets -- -D warnings clean; cargo test: 509 lib + 26 CLI pass. The one failure, command_engine_passes_text_on_stdin_when_not_in_the_template, calls tee and fails the same way on main on Windows. Not run: --no-default-features builds, make test-speech, CI.

The deck tests cover the new content: tiers grow short → complete → polished, every item has two answers, no duplicates, everything renders in the pixel font, the Spanish overlay is complete, the first-steps files stay words and chunks.

Not checked by a native speaker. The Spanish is neutral Latin American (curita, departamento, boleto, dale, ¿qué onda?), with Spain variants in accept or the tip. The slang is everyday and mild: nothing vulgar, nothing tied to one city.

* decks/en, decks/es, decks/pt and decks/i18n/es.en: deck.toml holds the
header and tips, each theme has its own file of phrases

theme file is one more name in that list
* same decks as before: a dump of every built-in deck (phrases, tiers,
