Hello everyone.
I am using LMDE7. I use a shortcut to switch between languages on my system, to be exact "Alt + Shift". But it seems that it only works in a particular order, meaning i have to press Alt, then press Shift, then release Shift before i release Alt.
This is kind of a pain because e.g. on Windows i press the shortcut combo and then release them both. Here it mostly doesn't work and i really have to pay attention to the release order. I think this is a bug.
You can use the 'XKB Options' to set up the traditional Alt+Shift layout shortcut, that works independent of order:
Make sure you clear the ones in the 'Layouts' tab though to prevent interference (Click on the box so it changes to 'Pick an accelerator' then press Backspace). The XKB Option shortcut currently only works in X11 sessions.
